‘I enjoy constantly being challenged to grow and learn in my role on a regular basis. The challenges that the ACIC faces from a technology perspective allow me to apply what I have learnt whilst at the same time growing my skillsets to help the Agency in making a difference.’ - Infrastructure Operations staff member, ACIC.
Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) technical administrators and assistant directors help deliver critical ICT capabilities to support the nation’s ability to respond to serious and organised crime, cybercrime, counter-terrorism and national security threats.
Over the course of your career with the ACIC, you will have the opportunity to use a multitude of unique skills and work on the agency’s critical national law enforcement, intelligence, research and corporate information systems and services, to keep the Australian community safe.
As part of the Infrastructure Operations Section, our technical specialists include IT administrators and assistant directors who operate as an escalation point for various technical matters and work in conjunction with a range of internal and external partners for infrastructure services. The Infrastructure Operations Section is comprised of three technical teams: Network Operations, Database and Storage Operations, and Server Operations. These teams collectively support in-house platforms and contribute to ACIC’s intelligence services.
Our IT administrators and assistant directors are provided with generous training for continual development and certifications, staff-led diversity and inclusion networks, and are supported to undertake further study.
