A man will face court today charged with drug supply as part of a joint investigation into the large-scale supply of cocaine.

The NSW Police Force’s Organised Crime Squad, the NSW Crime Commission, and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission are conducting a joint investigation into the importation and supply of cocaine under Strike Force Georgeson.

Following inquiries, strike force investigators arrested a 32-year-old man during a vehicle stop on Lilyfield Road, Lilyfield, about 3.15pm yesterday (Friday 13 April 2018).

Shortly after the arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at a home at North Rocks, where they seized $18,400 cash and encrypted mobile phones.

The North Rocks man was taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with large commercial drug supply, and two counts of deal with proceeds of crime.

Police will allege in court the man was involved in the supply of 11kg of cocaine.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 14 April 2018).

Following further inquiries, a second search warrant was executed at a home at Riverstone.

Investigators seized $210,000 cash, which was located on the roof, and 3kg of methylamphetamine (ice), 1kg of cocaine, and 500g of heroin, which were located in a vehicle.

Joint investigations under Strike Force Georgeson are ongoing.
