Check processing timeframes
The National Police Checking Serviceis currently experiencing delays in some applicants receiving their Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
Delays of up to 1-month are being experienced for a small percentage of NCCHCs.
A delayed NCCHC is not an indicator a person has any criminal history to be disclosed. The ACIC encourages employers not to exclude applicants who are experiencing delays in receiving their NCCHC.
